 n 1957\, VIR’s first official event was an ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv race that attracted star
 s like Carroll Shelby\, Carl Haas and Bob Holbert.  The track soon becam

 igh-speed straights\, challenging turns and dramatic elevation changes. 
 Since its rebirth in 2000\, the historic track has emerged as a world-cl
