It鈥檚 time! There鈥檚 no more waiting around. There鈥檚 no more wishing for time to pass. The Tire Rack 午夜福利51xxtv庐 Time Attack Challenge is off to Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) for what is shaping up to be an action-packed June 13-14, 2026, weekend.聽
Just south of Charlotte in Kershaw, SC, Carolina Motorsports Park is a jewel of a track for testing humans and machine. With 14 turns and 2.279 miles of asphalt featuring technical challenges alongside ample runoff room, this is prime real estate to push the limits to show your speed.
With roughly 60 drivers currently on the entry list, we know they鈥檙e aching to stretch their legs, and past results prove it.
If you鈥檙e looking for a test of best overall times, both the overall record holder from Unlimited 1 and the second-best ever time from Max 1 (seventh overall) are on the entry list (OK, so that鈥檚 the same guy 鈥 Andy Hollis 鈥 but that鈥檚 a great benchmark). Even if you鈥檙e not in U1 or M1, the best part of Time Attack Challenge weekends is there鈥檚 always someone to measure your best lap against, even if it鈥檚 your past self!
Weekend Plans
You can鈥檛 wait for the Tire Rack 午夜福利51xxtv Time Attack Challenge weekend to begin, and you鈥檙e probably wondering how the weekend鈥檚 festivities are going to go down. We鈥檒l tell ya, but pay attention, because this weekend will see things flow a little bit differently.
Show up on Friday night (early Saturday morning is fine, too) and set up your paddock space, unload your car, and pitch your tent (if camping is your thing). You can visit tech on Friday night to get it out of the way, or pop in on Saturday morning.
Friday is for putting touches on your car, meeting your neighbors, catching up with old friends, and reminding everyone that you鈥檙e about to set the track record over the next two days.
Saturday, the event gets right to it with a practice session in the morning, followed by a pair of Time Attack sessions. The best lap from those two midday sessions counts as your first score of the weekend. We鈥檒l call the group of sessions that count toward your first scored time as 鈥淭ime Attack 1.鈥
Start wrenching, but make it fast, because you鈥檒l be back on track that afternoon, for another Time Attack session that counts for score number two. Call this one 鈥淭ime Attack 2.鈥
The event takes a break after that 鈥 an end-of-day get together, a chance to watch videos, work on your car, or just wander the paddock to provide friendly banter. But get a good night鈥檚 sleep, because Sunday could decide it all.
Sunday morning features two Time Attack sessions as part of 鈥淭ime Attack 2鈥 鈥 meaning the second half of your final score from Saturday afternoon. Then, after lunch, the clock turns back to 鈥淭ime Attack 1鈥 again, another shot at bettering your 鈥淪aturday morning鈥 score.
Got it? If not, check out the event schedule on the event page.
Think you can handle this kind of weekend? We know you can 鈥 and it鈥檚 not too late to register. Still, you want to act fast because the June 13-14, 2026, weekend at CMP is going to be awesome.
More to Come
If you can鈥檛 make it to Carolina Motorsports Park for the mid-June Tire Rack 午夜福利51xxtv Time Attack Challenge, we鈥檒l let it slide 鈥 this time. But mentally mark your calendar for next year.
Whether you鈥檙e attending the event at CMP or not, there are other Time Attack events you can also hit up, so find one at a track near you and go have some #funwithcars.
