The ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtvâ„¢ is now accepting nominations for the prestigious ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv® Member of Excellence award, recognizing a volunteer who demonstrates the highest level of commitment and dedication to the Club.
The award honors the spirit of volunteering that serves as the foundation of the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv. From behind-the-scenes event organization to serving in specialized roles critical to event weekends, the Member of Excellence award celebrates individuals who give their time, energy, and passion to help make ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv events possible.
To qualify for the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Member of Excellence award, nominees must have provided service to Club events or activities for a minimum of five years. However, candidates cannot be paid ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Staff members, current members of the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Board of Directors, or paid consultants to the organization.

The recipient of the award will receive a trip to any motorsports event of their choosing, anywhere in the world and with any sanctioning body. The award includes up to $5,000 in covered expenses, paid courtesy of an anonymous donor.
The Member of Excellence award was first presented in 2008, with the most recent past recipients being Leon Drake (2025) for his work with the RallyCross community; Matt Wojtkowiak (2024) for his dedication to ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Road Racing’s tech specialty; and Earl Hurlbut (2023), whose journey with the Club began in the late 1960s and spanned Regional involvement, racing, flagging, registration, and more.

Nominations for the 2026 Member of Excellence award must be submitted by Monday, Nov. 16, 2026. The recipient will be revealed during the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv National Convention, taking place in January 2027.
