Abby Scher has been promoted to the position of Region Communication, Training and Events Manager for the 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv. In this role, she will develop, coordinate and implement communications and events that enhance the 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Member and Volunteer Leader experience.

Through Region communication and training, Scher will support the growth of 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv participation and membership. Chris Robbins, 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s Region Development Director, said Scher will oversee communication, training and education initiatives that ensure the strength and success of Regions. Her work will also include participating in regular Region conference/video calls, as well as supporting 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Divisional Conventions and the 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv National Convention.

“Abby joined 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s staff late last year as an Independent Contractor to help organize the annual 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv National Convention,” Robbins noted. “She made an instant impact leading the 2022 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Virtual National Convention, and wowed everyone. Because of that performance, we brought her aboard as the full-time Region Communication, Training and Events Manager. She’s proven quite adept, and we know she’ll continue to work hard for Region Leaders everywhere by making sure they have the necessary tools to achieve their goals.”

Scher’s professional background includes event planning, event hospitality and marketing. She reports directly to Robbins, and will continue to work remotely from her home office in North Carolina.

“While my new role with 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv has a wider scope, the overarching goal remains very much the same as the work I’ve been doing for several months,” said Scher, who is a member of 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s North Carolina Region. “My job is to communicate and promote learning and growth opportunities to Regions through a variety of means, including Inside Line, emails, conference calls, webinars, and other training and educational events. We want Region Leaders to know they have strong support from 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s Region Development team.”

Scher became an 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv member in 2008. While she has mainly competed in 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s autocross program, she does have a Formula F road racing car in her garage. She has also been spotted holding a flag near her home in the Southeast Division during road races.
