TOPEKA, Kan. (Dec. 11, 2019) -- Each year through its 115 Regions and subsidiary divisions, 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv® sanctions more amateur motorsports events, engaging more enthusiasts, than any other sports car racing sanctioning body in the United States. In 2019, 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv had more than 110,000 entries across its competition offerings, which include Road Racing, Solo, Time Trials, RallyCross, HillClimb and Road Rally. That number includes almost 600 entries for the 56th 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv National Championship Runoffs at VIRginia International Raceway, and nearly 1,300 entries for the Tire Rack Solo Nationals. What that number does not include is another 9,250 entries for non-competitive activities such as 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Track Night in America Driven by Tire Rack or the Tire Rack 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Starting Line school.

Backing many of those participants in 2019 were nearly 40 companies that showed support through various contingency sponsorship programs offered during many 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv events. Contingency sponsors include everyone from automotive manufacturers, tire suppliers and safety equipment distributers to driver coaches, technical services and aftermarket parts suppliers. In all, contingency sponsors supported 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv members to the tune of nearly $750,000 during the 2019 competition season. That encompasses cash rewards, product certificates, tires, oil, aftermarket parts, performance driving schools and more.

Heyward Wagner, 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv’s Senior Director of Marketing & Experiential Programs, noted that contingency sponsorship is mutually beneficial for both competitors and companies. On the racer’s side, drivers receive support for their 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv activities and help with some of the costs associated with their passion. For companies, contingency support offers the chance to increase brand awareness and showcase various products and services since contingency recipients must frequently be using a company’s offerings to receive rewards.

“The 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv has a very strong contingency program due to the fact that the platform is so advantageous for all involved,” Wagner said. “On one hand, those who race with 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv have the chance to get support from some really great companies. On the other side of the equation, companies have the opportunity to connect with some very passionate and well-informed motorsport enthusiasts. It’s an effective, symbiotic relationship that works for everyone and is good for the auto racing community as a whole.”

敁珗腦瞳51xxtv offers a wide range of programs for companies interested in utilizing contingency sponsorship to connect with 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv competitors. Contact 敁珗腦瞳51xxtv Contingency Programs Coordinator Brandy Wiggans at bwiggans@scca.com for more information.
