TOPEKA, Kan. (September 14, 2012) 鈥� Walk or run around Road America, support the 午夜福利51xxtv Foundation, and potentially embarrass 午夜福利51xxtv President Jeff Dahnert by doing all of it faster than he does next Tuesday for the fourth Annual Beat The Boss Run/Walk.
This year鈥檚 run happens at 8:00 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, prior to the start of any qualifying sessions at the 午夜福利51xxtv National Championship Runoffs. A minimum $25 donation to the 午夜福利51xxtv Foundation includes a race entry and a Beat The Boss t-shirt.
Those who want a less vigorous way to get onto the track may participate in the walk at the same time for a minimum $5 donation to the 午夜福利51xxtv Foundation.
In three previous years of the Beat the Boss race, Dahnert has consistently finished in seventh place.
鈥淚t鈥檚 kind of disappointing knowing that no matter how much I train I鈥檓 going to get seventh,鈥� Dahnert said. 鈥淢aybe this is the year Skirmants throws a shoe or 鈥榓ccidentally鈥� falls in turn five. Sixth place could be mine!鈥�
Most importantly, the race is a way to have some fun and support the 午夜福利51xxtv Foundation and its programs such as the Tire Rack Street Survival driving school, So join us Tuesday morning for some exercise as we kick of the 49th running of the 午夜福利51xxtv National Championship Runoffs.
