TOPEKA, Kan. (April 23, 2009) - Earlier this year, it was announced that the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Tire Rack® Solo National Tour would add an award to the program similar to the Chicago Region Triple Crown® or the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Club Racing Super Sweep. The new honor, dubbed the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Solo Triad Award, will incorporate all three levels of the Tire Rack National Solo program. To win the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Solo Triad, a driver must accomplish three feats in a single class: win either the Eastern or Western States Championship National Tour event, win a Tire Rack Divisional Championship and win at the Tire Rack Solo National Championships. Any driver who can successfully complete all three requirements in the same class will be rewarded with an ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Solo Triad trophy, free entry to the following year€™s Tire Rack Solo National Championships, a commemorative Triad Award Winner fleece, entry into a drawing for a lifetime ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv membership and have their name engraved on the perpetual ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Solo Triad Award trophy.Classes must meet a minimum entry size for drivers to qualify; three for Division Championships and the Eastern and Western States Championship, and five for the Tire Rack Solo National Championships. Undersubscribed classes will be merged into an Index class for Triad scoring purposes with credit given to the original class. In such an instance, drivers should check with the event steward for more details. The very first ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû51xxtv Solo Triad quest begins this weekend, with Southeast Division commencing its three-event championship series. Old Dominion Region will host the event, which will take place at ACU-4 Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Va. More information can be found at www.sedivsolo2.com.
